Fall Fitness Series
This is a FREE Zumba class offered to both members and non-members of the YMCA. All classes will be held at the Town Lawn in North Boulevard Town Square on Tuesday and Thursdays at 5PM. In the case of inclement weather, the classes will be moved inside the YMCA (521 Third St.).

Sunday in the Park with Blair Crimmins
Sunday in the Park is a series of FREE outdoor concerts held on North Boulevard's Town Lawn Stage in downtown Baton Rouge. Six concerts will be held on Sunday afternoons in October and November from 2PM to 5PM (Saints Football game will be shown on the Town Square Beacon.)

USS Kidd Keynotes: Domestic Violence Awareness Month
October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the USS Kidd Veterans Museum is committed to raising awareness about domestic violence by sponsoring a free lecture that will address all forms of domestic violence and help with the national effort to end violence.

Hunks in Heels 2014
Hunks in Heels will feature a dozen prominent local men strutting in heels to raise awareness of sexual violence inside the Hartley - Vey Studio. Last year Hunks in Heels made a huge splash in Baton Rouge. This year we promise to bring back your favorite Hunks for a hot opening number, along with fresh faces, loaded biceps, and smooth dance moves to rock your runway. As an added accessory, we are partnering with local artists to bedazzle the heels of our beloved Hunks.

Featuring the Dinner and a Movie option where you get to pick from a special "GOONIES" menu at Lucy's Retired Surfer Bar BR and a ticket to the show. Spots fill fast, so make your reservations early! Necropolis 13 is unlike any Haunted Attraction ever created. Imagine walking through a haunted New Orleans-style Cemetery (meaning crumbling stone & mortar above ground crypts) in the dead of the night. Necropolis 13 is located next to the box office across the street from The 13th Gate.
