Bassnectar at the River Center
Acclaimed bass music pioneer, Bassnectar, has released his 10th album, Noise Vs Beauty, and announced his fall 'NVSB' tour which includes a stop at the Baton River Center on October 23rd. The 'NVSB' tour will feature Bassnectar's extensive multimedia production that gives concert-goers the most immersive experience possible along with an endless list of special effects which continues to raise the bar for any live show.

Fall Fitness Series
This is a FREE Zumba class offered to both members and non-members of the YMCA. All classes will be held at the Town Lawn in North Boulevard Town Square on Tuesday and Thursdays at 5PM. In the case of inclement weather, the classes will be moved inside the YMCA (521 Third St.).

Sunday in the Park with Damon Fowler
Sunday in the Park is a series of FREE outdoor concerts held on North Boulevard's Town Lawn Stage in downtown Baton Rouge. Six concerts will be held on Sunday afternoons in October and November from 2PM to 5PM.

Sprouts Saturday at the Market
Bring the kids to the Market this weekend for fun, food, and recipes! There will be a special fall-themed Sprouts activity at the Sprouts tent from 8:30 to 11 am. Inside Main Street Market, special guest Lucie Monk will prepare kid-friendly recipes during the 10 am Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration. There will also be plenty of pumpkins for Halloween decorating and carving!

Necropolis 13 is unlike any Haunted Attraction ever created. Imagine walking through a haunted New Orleans-style Cemetery (meaning crumbling stone & mortar above ground crypts) in the dead of the night. Necropolis 13 is located next to the box office across the street from The 13th Gate.

Yappy Halloween 5k run and 1 mile costume stroll. It will be held October 26, 2014 from 10am-4pm in downtown baton rouge. Yappy Holloween this year will be in conjunction with Sunday in the Park.
